Chris Davidson I have been on the Community Waitakere Board since 2007. It has been a privilege to support the valuable work of the organisation to the extent I have been able. I live with my partner and four year old daughter in Laingholm. Raising a family in Waitakere provides a drive for me to contribute what I can to help create a better community. I bring a number of years experience working in the community. Since 2002 I have worked at Waitakere Abuse and Trauma Counselling Service, and more recently as Chief Executive of Man Alive. The skills I am able to bring include studies in sociology (Master of Philosophy, Massey University); which included a thesis exploring the nature of volunteering in Waitakere City. Prior to this I spent several years working as a Chartered Accountant.
