If so, then we invite you to submit an application for the Community Developer role at Community Waitakere, a community organisation committed to a vision of a sustainable Waitakere with thriving, connected communities.

This role requires a seasoned community developer with strong facilitation skills.  This person will have a broad range of skills including the ability to think strategically in networking and relationship building, to envision and initiate opportunities for project development and further alignment of community development work, and to apply community development processes to achieve community driven outcomes.  Additionally, this person will be highly organized and have well-developed planning, prioritising and project management skills.  High-level communication skills and the ability to work cross-culturally is a must.  The person must have a good understanding of the bi-cultural foundation of Aotearoa and the ability to work in an inclusive, collaborative way which honours Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
