Community Waitakere offers inclusive neighbourhood and environment-based community initiatives alongside training, information, advocacy and connection to the community sector. We value your support in any of the following 2 ways:- Payroll Giving and by becoming a Friend of Community Waitakere.  Further details below:-

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a scheme to assist us all to give to Charity by making it easy to give as you earn. You can make a donation to Community Waitakere  automatically every pay day via your employer .  Even the smallest amount on a regular basis will make a difference and you can also make lump sum payments too.

Your  employers payroll system will allow the donation to be passed directly onto us electronically and you will receive an immediate PAYE credit of 33.3%.  For example: a weekly donation of $10 will gain a $3.33 immediate PAYE credit. The payroll system will calculate the right tax credits for donations so you can be assured the right amounts are being deducted and credited and this information will be electronically filed with Inland Revenue. This saves you the hassle of collecting receipts for a tax claim at the end of the year.

A Community Waitakere Payroll Giving request form can be downloaded here.  All you need to do is complete your personal details and hand it to your employer for them to commence Payroll Giving.

Friend of Community Waitakere

Become a friend of Community Waitakere

Friendship Rates:
Low / Unwaged - $10
Individual - $25
Community Group - $25
Statutory Agency - $100 (not dependant on community grants)

If you would like to become a Friend of Community Waitakere,  send an email to info@communitywaitakere.org.nz with your name, address and phone number.  There are 3 ways you can make your pledge payment:

1.       Direct Credit to 12-3039-0827981-00
2.       Cheque made payable to Community Waitakere and posted to PO Box 21068, Henderson
3.       Cash at Waitakere Community resource Centre, 8 Ratanui Street, Henderson
