Auckland Council is focused on continuing to help our communities and businesses recover, and providing the essential services Aucklanders rely on. But the economic impact of COVID-19 means that together we need to make some tough decisions about Auckland Council’s budget - like the rates we pay and what we spend our money on. Community organisations and residents need to have their say. This consultation will be open for your feedback from noon on 29 May until midnight on Friday 19 June. Our West online session, where you can ask questions and hear from our politicians, is this Sunday 31 May, 5pm-6.30pm.
Auckland Council has welcomed the announcement by the Government that the country has moved to COVID-19 Alert Level 2 and is opening its 400-plus community facilities and services in a careful and staged manner to protect staff and customers.
Next Wednesday 20 May, 31 of our 55 libraries will open to the public on their usual days and hours. Other libraries will follow after the Queen’s Birthday weekend. More >>
