Budget 2019 takes a transformative approach to mental health, wellbeing and addiction systems and services in New Zealand.

In February 2019, the Earthquake Commission Act changed. Two of the four changes to the Act affect EQCover and how New Zealanders are covered for damage from natural disasters, and are particularly relevant for landlords and tenants. Those changes are:
• An increase in the cap on EQC residential dwelling cover from $100,000 (+GST) to $150,000 (+GST);

CAYAD Tamaki Makaurau is relaunching our newsletter! This is an opportunity for us to share how we are working with our communities to reduce the harm of alcohol and other drugs, and to acknowledge some of the important mahi being done.
CAYAD also share the new Community Action Toolkit and workbook. The toolkit is a resource and guidance document that was developed to support communities to address alcohol and other drug-related harm impacting young people aged 14 to 24. >>
Living and Learning Family Centre, Henderson will be starting our next 20 week Young Mum Program on Tuesday 30th July 2019 running for three days a week - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 09:30 - 2:30pm. With the last day of program being Thursday 12th December 2019 for Graduation celebration. The program is free for young mums to attend and quality childcare is provided on site in our early childcare centre. Transport can be provided for rangatahi living around the Henderson area. >>
