Dr Lynn Miller, Manager of NZ Bird Rescue Centre and internationally known for her work with the world’s birdlife, will be giving a talk at the Piha Library. Lynne will talk about how to foster and preserve our precious birdlife. What to do if you find injured or sick birds and, especially at this time of the year, how to treat rescued baby birds.
There will also be an opportunity to have your questions answered by an expert. >>

Our mission is to send two teachers (1 x Primary/Intermediate 1 x Secondary) to the Space Exploration Educators Conference in Houston, Texas in February 2020, where they will experience three days of minds-on, hands-on learning.
