Do you have a burning desire to report on or take a fresh, creative approach to reducing mental distress discrimination?
The Mental Health Media Grants or Putea Papaho are opening in less than a month, and offer up to $10,000 for projects that stand up and speak out for Kiwis with mental distress or illness.
Variety - are a New Zealand children's charity that provides funding for financially disadvantaged children. Our biggest programme is our Kiwi Kid Sponsorship programme which matches financially disadvantaged kids with a sponsor to provide funding each year for their basic essentials such as clothing, bedding and shoes, and school related costs such as stationery, uniform, school camps and trips. Families can apply for up to 4 kids per household as long as they are New Zealand citizens or residents, and aged between 5-15 years. Kids receive on average around $405 a year and can remain on the programme until they are 18 years old. More >>
If you have a great idea that supports waste minimisation or reduces waste going to landfill in Auckland then we would love to hear from you! Funding criteria, application guidelines and information about previously approved grants can be found here on the Auckland Council website. Applications must be made online via SmartyGrants, and a link through to the application portal is accessible via the WMIF webpage. The April round is accepting applications requesting grants of between $250 and $5,000. A further funding round accepting applications requesting grants of up to $50,000 will be open in September 2018. >>
