Making WAVES

Kia ora Koutou,

A massive thank you to everyone that was involved in our Waitakere White Ribbon Community Event yesterday in Henderson! It was a fantastic day with a positive vibe whereby we came together as a community to promote healthy, respectful relationships in West Auckland. It was truly a team effort involving a range of different organisations including Waitemat? Police, Family Action, The Fono, Community Waitakere, Man Alive, Zonta, Neighbourhood Support Waitakere, Auckland Council, Waitemat? Community Law Centre, and ACC. And thank you to those who provided donations for the event - Tegel, Tasti, DTR, Pita Pit, Westpac, E-Thing, and Ryman Healthcare.

A reminder that our final network meeting for 2019 is coming up soon: Inter-Agency, Tuesday 10th December, 10am-12pm in the Opanuku Room, Corban Estate Arts Centre, Henderson. We'll be looking back on what has been a very busy year whilst also looking towards 2020. We will also bring back the Secret Santa game so if you could bring along a $5 gift then we can see off the end of the year with a bit of light-hearted fun!

That's all from me, have a great weekend everyone.

Ng? mihi nui ki a koutou katoa,
Amiria & the team at WAVES
