This event will offer participants the chance to learn tools designed and tested by renowned international and national practitioners to enhance existing practices including:
Addressing persistent inequalities that affect M?ori and Pasifika communities
Enabling community-led development
Harnessing innovation for disrupting existing systems
Redistributing power and resources to enhance community health and wellbeing
Participants will be taken through initiatives underway in Aotearoa where these tools are currently being successfully utilised, alongside exploring successes and challenges.
Our intention is to bring people together who are working to apply design methods, systems thinking and collaborative approaches to systems change.

The aim is to improve people’s health where they live, learn, work and play by taking a systems approach to the reduction of risk factors for major health loss and inequity.

Inspiring Communities vision is for all communities in Aotearoa to flourish, with CLD specialists using their experience to connect, mentor, train and support people, organisations and communities to make their places even better to live, work, play and invest in. Inspiring Communities also focus on systems change to help make things easier for communities to work in locally-led ways.
