Through Community Waitakere’s involvement in Project Twin Streams Henderson Creek we have built up a body of knowledge that spans both environmental and community outcomes. We believe that these two areas are inexplicably linked and that communities should and can play an active and meaningful role in environmental restoration.

As a community based organisation we want to share our learnings with other community groups who are on the journey of understanding what role communities play within environmental restoration work.
