NHLWV is a leading Family Violence organization on the North Shore and has a range of established networks across the region. We are looking to appoint a full time Business Manager with proven strong leadership and management experience and a good understanding of the requirements of ‘Not for Profit’ organizations. This newly created position will work alongside the Clinical Service Manager to provide a seamless integration of innovative business practice which supports the clinical outcomes of the agency. The position will be accountable to the Board’s vision of ensuring that NHLWV continue to provide a range of high quality family violence services which emphasize the rights of every person to live their life free from violence and abuse. The Secretary role is a key position in the Governance of any NGO, and for MECOSS this role comprises the following: • Attendance and taking Minutes at the MECOSS Governing Committee meetings, held bi-monthly for approximately 1 - 1.5 hours • Assistance with the review of funding applications • Liaison with MECOSS staff and Chairperson • Assistance with planning and fulfilling objectives of MECOSS • Assistance from time to time with meetings/events MECOSS, the MANUKAU EAST COUNCIL OF SOCIAL SERVICES INC. is an umbrella organisation providing networking opportunities; educational updates, advocacy and capacity building for social service providers in the Manukau East region of Auckland.
