| Description: | The annual Variety Monster Book Fair is back at Alexandra Park Function Centre from Thursday 29th July to Sunday 1st August. Thursday 29th July 6pm to 10pm ($10 entry fee) Friday 30th July 8am to 10pm Saturday 31st July 8am to 5pm Sunday 1st August 9am to 3pm The Book Fair will have over 100,000 books divided into different categories with prices starting from $1. Last year's event generated sales in excess of $121,000 and the 2010 event in on target to better that. Donations of books, DVDs, CDs, games and puzzles are still needed - simply drop them off to Sunshine House (290 Great South Road, Greenlane) or call us on (09) 520 4111 and we'll arrange for the Book bus to collect them. , Greenlane Road West, Epsom,uc What is the Variety Monster Book Fair? Every year Variety Volunteer Mary Walker and the A-Z Book Fair Committee gather up thousands of no-longer needed books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, videos and puzzles to bring you the Variety Monster Book Fair. Raising tens of thousands of dollars every year, this is one of New Zealand's largest and most successful book fairs. Don't throw away...the kids' old games, the family's forgotten CDs and DVDs, the 'we'll never do it again' jigsaw puzzles, or your previously-loved books. Simply drop off your loved but no longer wanted items to us at the Sunshine House, 290 Great South Rd, Auckland, or call and ask for the Book Bus to collect your donation (Auckland only). And don't forget, you can donate items for the Monster Book Fair year-round - just give us a call.
