Community Waitakere connects neighbourhoods, community organisations, local businesses and government so as to maximise opportunities to deliver desired community outcomes.  To this end, we are engaged in the following activities:

• Community Training Courses - Upcoming Community Waitakere Training Courses
• Resource Centre - provides friendly event & meeting space & affordable office rental in central Henderson
• Edsel St Serviced offices - Serviced offices in the heart of the community
• Open Door Days - come and gather with community sector organisations from across Waitakere, meet new people and discover what's happening
• Daily e-noticeboard - shares news and information on training courses, events & hui which goes out to over 500 subscribers daily
• Research Project - to provide a foundation for more effective community-driven community-development work in Waitakere Massey/Ranui - Back 2 Back Project - Collaboration of 5 partners : DIA, Massey Matters, Ranui Action Project, Auckland Council & Community Waitakere
• Ranui - Community Waitakere is an active participant around the future for the Ranui Action Project (RAP) House
• Project Twin Streams Henderson Creek - Project Twin Streams is a large scale environmental restoration and stormwater management project
• Our Place Project - Our Place is an exciting youth stream restoration project with a distinctly West Auckland flavour
• Treasure Hunts - Community Waitakere supported Violence Free Waitakere to hold treasure hunts in McLaren Park Henderson South and Massey
