Community Waitakere was an active participant in the Waitakere Wellbeing Collaboration Steering Group. This collaboration between community, local and central government ensured the Waitakere Way remained steadfast for many years, despite the changing landscape of governance. In December 2011 Community Waitakere co-convened the Waitakere Wellbeing Summit which attracted over 120 attendees. Priority Calls to Action were identified at the Summit and existing Calls to Action were revisited. Community Waitakere continues to co-convene the Strong Local Economies Call to Action and contributes to the Housing Call to Action.
