Le Moana

Le Moana West is an important collective for Pasifika leadership, advocacy and connection across West Auckland.

The collective brings together individuals and organisations who are committed to strengthening outcomes for Pasifika communities across Waitākere, with a shared focus on ensuring resourcing, funding and support reach the people and groups already leading meaningful mahi on the ground.

As a collective partner, Community Waitākere values the opportunity to stand alongside Le Moana West in ways that support connection, collaboration and community-led action. Our role is grounded in listening, relationship-building and supporting collective aspirations, rather than leading the kaupapa.

Through this relationship, we aim to contribute to shared action that strengthens Pasifika communities, honours Pacific leadership, and supports a West Auckland where Pasifika peoples are resourced, recognised and able to thrive.
